History and Mission
Edelman, founded in 1952, is the world’s largest firm specializing in communications consulting. Edelman is consisted of over 5,500 consultants in 65 different offices all over the world, providing various communications consulting services. Our services include: Corporate PR, Consumer Marketing, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Reputation Management Consulting, Issues and Risk Management, Public Communication, Internal Communication, CEO Positioning, and many others. We successfully contributed in consolidating various companies such as Toni Company, Sara Lee, Brunswick Bowling, PaperMate, ReaLemon, and others.
Edelman's storytelling is not only based on creative but also real-time data analysis. We identify and analyze brands’ “buzz” and issues from news articles, websites and blogs, and manage this information as a tool to improve brands and businesses. In addition, we carry out various integ-rated analyses, including social media monitoring, and quantitative and qualitative research. A customized dashboard makes real-time monitoring and content curating possible. Such ana-lyses offer not only a comprehensive view of marketing but also a space to improve and reflect on the success of various marketing activities. Edelman applies solutions from various partner companies including Edelman Berland to achieve this. Also, Edelman consolidated Edelman Digital to be present in this digital era, and acquired MATTER, Funny or Die, Sundance and other entertainment marketing/content companies to widen our horizons.
